What is Classical Ideals?

Culture has unconscious affects on all of us. The stories we tell ourselves directs the way that we think about ourselves, each other and our relationships. To imbibe the culture without serious reflection is to give the makers of that culture undue influence over our lives.

My writing is about looking at out culture in new and interesting ways. I explore art history, literature, philosophy, films, tv shows, music and memes to reveal the stories they tell us and try and figure out the extent to which they are aligned with beauty, truth and virtue.

Pleased to meet you, my name is Megha Lillywhite. I am a retired neuroscientist, turned classical illustrator and writing addict. I am a mother of two little girls and the wife of a time travelling crusader knight. I am a Catholic who lives in the Middle East and speaks five languages. I hope we can have some wonderful discussions.
